Matlin Injury Law does one thing: Colorado car accident cases. Founded and led by Brian Matlin, the firm exists so injured people never have to face an insurance company alone.

The reason this firm exists

One serious crash can upend your life in moments. Pain sets in. Work gets missed. Your car is out of commission. Then the calls start — an adjuster who sounds friendly and wants a recorded statement before you've even seen a specialist. Matlin Injury Law was founded for that very moment.

The firm is focused on car accidents, because focus matters. Rear-end collisions, intersection crashes, drunk, distracted and uninsured drivers, hit-and-runs and rideshare wrecks — these cases follow patterns. Matlin has built its process around those patterns: the evidence that can win, the injuries these crashes cause and the tactics insurers often use to shrink claims.

Clients feel it. Matlin Injury Law has a 5.0 rating across 471 Google reviews, and the themes are consistent: clear communication, quick answers and a team that treats your case like it matters. The firm serves 14 Front Range cities, from Denver and Aurora to Colorado Springs — every community is listed on the locations page.

Help is meant to be easy to get. Free consultations happen wherever you are — over the phone, by text or online. You don't need to visit an office while you're recovering. Tell the firm about the crash, answer a few key questions, and leave with a clearer picture of what your next step may look like.

About Brian Matlin

Brian Matlin is the owner and founding attorney of the firm. Raised in Colorado, he built his practice around the roads he grew up on — the same highways, intersections and commuter routes where his clients are injured. That local background shapes how the firm reads a crash: the traffic patterns involved, how insurers tend to act here and what a claim may truly be worth.

Brian started Matlin Injury Law out of one frustration: injured people were being handled like file numbers. His response was a firm where the owner knows your name, your injuries and your file — and where the fee promise guarantees the firm never makes more than you. That standard guides everything, from which cases Matlin takes to the advice you receive about settling or pressing forward.

The firm's results include a $1.5M motor vehicle accident victory and a $1.0M motor vehicle accident victory. Past results never guarantee a future outcome — every case depends on its own facts — but they show what a focused crash firm can accomplish. See more on the case results page.

How Matlin handles a case

Each crash is unique. The approach is always the same.

Build the record earlyPolice reports, witness contacts, scene photos, video footage and medical documentation — secured before evidence fades and recollections blur.
Manage the insurance fightMatlin takes on adjusters, recorded-statement traps, low offers, liens and policy-limit questions so the pressure is on the firm, not on you.
Pursue full valueDamages may include medical bills, future treatment, lost income, pain and suffering and property damage — documented and pursued toward the strongest result the facts support.

That early work adds up. When a claim is documented from week one — treatment connected to the crash, fault evidence protected, coverage identified — an insurer can't easily downplay it. Delay does the reverse. Evidence fades fast, and treatment gaps can turn into arguments against you.

From start to finish, you're kept in the loop. You get real answers to your questions — by phone, text or online, whichever works best while you recover.

The promise

Matlin never makes more than you. That's not a tagline — it's the promise the firm was founded on, and it's meant literally. Add the fee structure, no fee unless we win, and the incentives finally point in the right direction: the firm succeeds only when you do.

Why does that matter? In a contingency-fee case, the attorney's share can sometimes leave a client with less than the firm that represented them. Brian chose not to run his firm that way. If Matlin accepts your case, the promise goes with it.

Start with a free consultation by phone, text or online. Tell Matlin what happened and get straight answers about where your claim may stand.
